Will there be transportation to the wedding and back
Transportation
We will be providing shuttle service departing from Montage Laguna Beach. All guests are welcome to use this shuttle service, whether or not you are staying at the hotel.
The first shuttle will depart the Montage at 3:30 PM and will take guests to the Los Trancos Parking Lot at Crystal Cove State Park, located across Pacific Coast Highway from the venue. From there, a second shuttle will take guests directly down to the venue.
Guests may also choose to walk from the parking lot to the venue, which takes approximately 10 minutes via the pedestrian tunnel and path.
Shuttles will run continuously before the ceremony to ensure all guests are picked up and transported to the venue.
We highly encourage guests to take the shuttle, as the Los Trancos lot is open to the public for beach parking during the summer months and parking is not guaranteed.
Is there parking at the venue?
Guests are welcome to drive to the venue. Parking is only available at Los Trancos Parking Lot, located within Crystal Cove State Park.
Please note that parking at Los Trancos is public beach parking and is open to all visitors. During the summer months, the lot can fill up quickly due to beach traffic, so parking availability is not guaranteed and it may be challenging to find a spot and arrive on time.
Parking fees are set by the state park and are typically about $5 per hour (up to $15 per day), with up to $20 on summer weekends or holidays.
Guests are not permitted to drive directly into the Cove or Historic District, so this is the only parking lot available for the venue.
For these reasons, we strongly encourage guests to use the provided shuttle service, which will make transportation to the venue much easier.
Can we Uber or Lyft?
Guests are welcome to take Uber or Lyft to the venue area. Rideshare drivers may drop guests off at the Los Trancos Parking Lot at Crystal Cove State Park.
Please plan to arrive at or before 4:00 PM so you can catch the wedding shuttle that will transport guests from the parking lot down to the venue.
Rideshare vehicles are granted a short grace period to enter the Los Trancos lot for drop-off only, but they are not permitted to drive into the Crystal Cove Historic District or down to the venue.
What will the weather be like?
Late July in Newport is typically warm, sunny, and very comfortable, with coastal breezes from the ocean. Daytime temperatures are usually in the mid to upper 70s°F, and the weather is generally dry with very little chance of rain.
Because our celebration is by the water, the temperature can cool down in the evening once the sun sets. We recommend bringing a light jacket, sweater, or wrap so you stay comfortable throughout the night.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place outdoors on the oceanfront deck at Crystal Cove Historic District.
Guests will enjoy the beautiful California coastal breeze and ocean views throughout the entire celebration as we move seamlessly from ceremony to cocktails to dinner and dancing — all in the same stunning outdoor deck setting.
What is the dress attire?
Semi Formal:
Women: cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or chic summer attire
Men: button-down shirts, dress pants, and optional jackets; ties are not required
Are children invited?
While we absolutely love children, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event. The only children in attendance will be immediate family members who are participating in the ceremony.
We appreciate your understanding and hope this allows everyone to relax and fully enjoy the evening with us.
